Jet Ski rider Geoff Mills came to the rescue of two lorry drivers who had been caught in the Nullagine River.

The river had become flooded but this did not deter the drivers who were delivering delivering managnese. The police were quickly on the scene. However, they didn’t have the equipment to help. Their helicopter was not powerful enough to winch the drivers to safety and was affected by the heavy winds.

Geoff Mills grabbed his jet ski and headed into the water to save the trapped men. The policed praised his bravery. Another triumph for the jet ski.
