Jet Ski Starters - Starters are one of the most essential bits of kit on the jet ski. They do come under a fair bit of strain and wear and tear take their strain upon them. They do occasionally need replacing. Be sure to check that the part you buy exceeds, or at least comes up to, OEM specifications.

If your jet ski does not start, there could be a very simple fix. A common problem is that the ignition sparks initially but the engine does not kick in. The first thing you should do is take a close look at your primary and secondary coils. Check that they are working as they should.

Then make a careful check of the electrics. Ensure that all connections are securely in place, all present and correct and feeding into the right place.

Then move on to your flywheel magnets and your Pick-up coil. If none of those are causing your problem, try moving onto the power pack, then take a look at the CD Box and the Capacitor Discharge.
